The administrators handling the insolvency of DyStar have announced that all employees at the specialist chemical company’s locations in Frankfurt, Leverkusen, Geretsried and Brunsbüttel were to be released from work as from December 1. The exception is the location at Ludwigshafen where the production process for some products remains open.

“I’m sorry to say that there is no definite investor commitment at the moment,” explained the preliminary administrator Dr Stephan Laubereau. “However, the search for a suitable investor will continue into December.”
