Hi-Tec is serious about trail-running

04/10/2011
Netherlands-based sports brand Hi-Tec has announced that it is continuing its support of trail running.

To help it promote its trail-running products, in particular its V-Lite Infinity shoes, Hi-Tec will renew its partnership with event organiser Extreme Energy to run its Ultra Trail Series again in 2012.

Launched earlier this year, the Ultra Trail Series consists of five multi-stage events that will take place in the south of England over 12 days in 2012 and cover 600 kilometres. Many of the events will earn runners qualifying points for the 2012 Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc, which Hi-Tec has called “the pinnacle of the European Trail Race calendar”.

Laura Greenaway, Hi-Tec marketing communications executive said at the time of the announcement of the 2012 series was her company’s chance to show that it is serious about getting a foothold in the trail running shoe market.
