Bemis announces bluesign certification
US-based thermoplastic adhesive and seam tape manufacturer Bemis has announced it has achieved bluesign certification for its portfolio of Sewfree adhesive films and seam sealing tapes.
The company recently completed important steps towards fulfilling its corporate and social responsibility, requiring permanent screening of both its supply chain and its manufactured products. All process stages in the company, including raw materials and supplies, are evaluated using strict compliance criteria.
The company’s bluesign certification places it on a list of certified raw material and component suppliers committed to following the most stringent, environmentally-friendly standards without compromising functionality or quality.
