TenCate fabrics to go into new trousers

11/10/2011
Protective fabric manufacturer TenCate has received a major order for its Defender M fabrics, including a Stretch version, from the US Army.

A new Army Combat Pant will be made of three Defender M fabrics for the first time. These pants are intended to provide additional comfort and durability as well as flame resistance.

Three different garment manufacturers will use the fabric to make an estimated 90,000 pairs of the trousers.
