Nilit takes FIR yarn to Shanghai

One of the yarns it will have on show in Shanghai is Nilit Innergy, the company’s contribution to the growing range of textile products that create far infrared ray (FIR) emissions, which manufacturers claim can invigorate the body and enhance performance during sports and outdoor activities.
In addition, Nilit talked in the build-up to the Shanghai event of FIR emissions being capable of increasing feelings of wellbeing and helping to reduce the appearance of cellulite. “This makes the yarn perfect for shapewear, hosiery, lingerie, medical socks, gloves and sportswear,” the company said.
Nilit Innergy is made from nylon 6.6, but has a mineral additive, which creates the FIR emissions.
