13/10/2011
Titas (Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show) is now in its fifteenth year and features fabrics, garments, accessories and other textile products based on the themes of functionality, environmental protection and fashion.
In all, the 2011 show hosted 580 booths operated by 345 businesses and factories from 12 countries and regions, including South Korea, India, Germany, Thailand, Japan and Hong Kong.
Following the relaxing of textile tariffs between Taiwan and China, which followed the signing of an Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement in June 2010, a record number of exhibitors from China, 69, were in attendance at the show.
Organiser, the The Taiwan Textile Federation, described Titas as the best platform in Taiwan for local and overseas exhibitors to showcase their innovative products and latest technologies.
