2XU signs up pro triathlete as brand ambassador
08/02/2012
Last year, Terenzo Bozzone pushed fellow 2XU ambassador and 10-time Ironman New Zealand champion Cameron Brown to race-record pace and finished a close second. With the March 3, 2012 Ironman New Zealand on the horizon, a fiery contest is sure to reignite between these two.
"Long term, Kona is where I want to succeed," said Terenzo Bozzone, in reference to the original Ironman competition at Kailua-Kona in Hawaii. "But, Ironman New Zealand is where I want to compete well. I want to take Cam Brown off his throne in the nicest way possible. With 2XU on my side, I'll be heading into 2012 with more confidence, support, drive and hunger for the title. This partnership was an easy choice for me. I can't wait to get started."
2XU co-founder and director of product development, Jamie Hunt, is equally thrilled with the new partnership.
"Working with athletes of Terenzo's calibre is integral to 2XU's high-performance formula," he said. "His passion for triathlon, technical apparel and excellence in performance are echoed by 2XU. This partnership will open up exciting new ventures in the future."
