Hervia plans to open 10 new Y-3 stores in UK
UK-based apparel retailer Hervia, which holds license for the Y3 fashion label in the UK, is planning to open 10 new Y-3 stores across the UK during the next two-year period, and is in talks with German sportswear brand adidas for the same.
The Y3 label is was founded by sportswear brand adidas and Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto, and 2012 marks the 10th anniversary of partnership between the two. The success of first Y3 store unveiled in London a year ago has prompted Hervia to expand the Y3 brand.
Hervia plans to open a second London store and the other nine new Y3 outlets will be spread across the UK. While the new showrooms will be of the same format as the first store, some sites may have a smaller area.
