Launch of new Goodyear footwear collection in North America

Goodyear-branded shoes, including hiking boots and work footwear, will launch in the US and Canada this year through a new line offered by the New York-based SCL Footwear Group.

“This new licensing agreement with SCL Footwear Group is a great opportunity to further leverage the Goodyear brand in our company’s largest market,” said the tyre company’s director of licensed products, Nancy Ray. She said the deal would build on Goodyear’s strong brand recognition in North America.

For the most part, the footwear will be made in China.
