Magnet keeps new scarf in place

Canadian outdoor brand North45 has launched a magnetic merino wool scarf for skiers, snowboarders and all snow enthusiasts.

The Montreal-based company has said the scarf won’t get wet, freeze or fog up googles. It describes the design as two-piece, with one piece covering the neck area and the second covering the face. Hot air from the mouth escapes between the two pieces, which is what prevents the scarf from becoming wet and the goggles from fogging up.

Keeping the scarf in the correct position is the key to making sure this works effectively and this is where the magnet comes in. A magnet integrated into the scarf means wearers can attach it to their goggles and keep it in place.
