Johan Cruyff to open own-brand store in Barcelona

Johan Cruyff played for Ajax in Amsterdam until 1973, when he moved to Catalonia to play for Barcelona. He later became head coach of both clubs, but has lived in Barcelona since the 1990s.
He launched his own fashion label, Cruyff Classics, in 1979 and has enjoyed success with the brand, which makes high-end sports fashion, including shoes and clothing.
The new store in Barcelona will be the brand’s first and will put trophies, medals and other memorabilia from the player’s career on display to attract the public.
