Nike earns $27.8 billion in fiscal 2014
Despite the negative impact of changes in foreign exchange rates, revenues at the world’s biggest sportswear group rose 10% to $27.8 billion for the fiscal year that ended May 31, 2014.

Nike brand sales of $26.1 billion were 11% higher than the previous year on a currency-neutral basis, and grew across all geographies and categories.

Revenues for Converse were $1.7 billion, up 15%, mainly driven by strong performance in its largest markets: the US, China and the UK.

“These results demonstrate the energy and excitement Nike brings to the market,” said CEO Mark Parker. “Our ability to relentlessly innovate for consumers drove our growth in FY14, and will continue to fuel it for years to come.

“And as we grow, we remain focused on managing all areas of our business to drive sustainable, profitable growth for our shareholders.”
