Ms O’Neill, who joined in 1998 and was most recently general manager for Nike Women’s, will be responsible for the development of new store concepts.
Replacing her in the women’s business is Amy Montagne. She joined Nike in 2005 and has held a range of roles, including vice-president of global running merchandising and, most recently, general manager of global merchandising.
“These two appointments demonstrate our commitment to investing in our retail experience and our women’s business – two of our most strategic growth opportunities,” said Nike’s brand president, Trevor Edwards.
