Sympatex-backed project to examine climate change

For the second year, Sympatex Technologies is sponsoring a project led by geomorphologist Hannes Künkel to investigate climate change in the Himalayas.
The project will also focus on sociocultural and socio-economic changes in the living environment around Annapurna Himal.
“We love the Himalayas, trekking and mountain climbing, which is why we want to deal with this region,” said Mr Künkel. “The time has come to examine the change in the Himalayas with a new perspective and approach.”
