Asia Outdoor event secures support from the China Outdoor Association

At the COA’s 2014 annual general meeting in early November, the organisation took a decision to provide increased support for summer business in general and in particular, to take part in the Asia Outdoor fair.
The association, which includes major industry players such as Toread, The North Face, Columbia, Kailas, Northland, Mobi Garden and Scaler, is basing its decision on American and European models, where industry colleagues also take part in trade fairs that are purely focused on the outdoors.
COA will run an inaugural conference, the COA Outdoor China Summit, ahead of the exhibition from July, 21-22. The organisers said on making the announcement that places at the first COA Outdoor China Summit will be limited, with people interested in attending being asked to fill in an application and submit a fee from February 2015 onwards.
