Domestic comfort for Italian textile machinery manufacturers

ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machine Manufacturers, has reported a fall in sales overall in the fourth quarter of 2014, but has said orders from textile manufacturers in Italy increased.

President of the organisation, Rafaella Carabelli, said growth in orders from Italian producers was a good sign for 2015. She said: “I’m certain that the entire textile industry can benefit from the current global economic trends, and I’m referring especially to the weaker euro and lower interest rates.”
