Winter sports success for Schoeller

Textile technology developer Schoeller supplied high-tech fabrics to many of the athletes at the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Beaver Creek, Colorado, and at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun in Sweden this winter.

At the Alpine World Ski Championships, 21 athletes from different countries took the winners’ podium in Schoeller textiles, the company has said, picking up four gold, six silver and 11 bronze medals.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships, the total number of Schoeller fabric-wearing athletes to win medals in different disciplines was 36.

Schoeller said on announcing these successes that it was proud of its long association with skiing and winter sports in general and said its latest developments offer extra support in aerodynamics, safety, freedom of movement and wellbeing.
