European Outdoor Group launches sustainability webinar programme
The European Outdoor Group (EOG) is hosting two sustainability webinars in the run-up to German trade show OutDoor to “supply the industry with the latest insights and to encourage debate”.
The first, on May 26, will focus on the alignment of brands’ restricted substances lists with REACH
(registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals).
The second, on June 30, will cover the recycling of cotton and polyester textiles.
Pamela Ravasio, EOG CSR and sustainability manager, said: “We have worked hard to develop a programme that will cover a range of topical and relevant issues. This is part of our wider sustainability work, which has recently included an expansion to the public resources section of the EOG website, with more developments in the pipeline.
“The webinars will take place as we lead up to OutDoor in July, where once again there will be a lot of focus on sustainability.”
