Technical prize for DSM Dyneema at World Textile Awards

DSM Dyneema has scooped the prized for Technical Textile Producer of the Year at the World Textile Awards, with Sri Lankan manufacturer Textured Jersey Lanka named International Textile Producer of the Year.

Winners were selected from nominated companies and chosen by a panel of “leading textile organisations, institutions and companies” coordinated by the London-based awards company.

The other winners were announced as:
Fibre Producer of the Year: Indorama Ventures, Indonesia
Spinner of the Year: Vardhman Textiles, India
Weaver of the Year: Taylor & Lodge, UK
Dyer & Finisher of the Year: Textured Jersey Lanka, Sri Lanka
Garment Maker of the Year: CKT Apparel (Hirdaramani Group), Sri Lanka.

Entries are now open for next year’s awards. The deadline is 30 October 2015.
