Now Under Armour signs up for soles from Michelin

Soling technology from the famous Michelin tyre brand will continue to make an impact on the outdoor footwear market in 2016.

Following launches this year in collections from Salewa, Michelin has now announced that it has now developed branded performance soles for trail running and fast hiking shoes for Under Armour.

Michelin has said its sole will be integrated into the structure of the shoes, linking its know-how in “ground contact” (from the tyre business) with the expertise of its partner brands. “The mission is to make a difference on the market, by bringing real innovation and
tangible advantage to the consumers,” the company said on making the announcement about the development with Under Armour.
