Eurobike launch for Gore’s latest laminate
W.L. Gore & Associates will launch its '1beats2' design - a three-layer Windstopper laminate - at Eurobike in Germany at the end of the month.
The one-piece garment is up to 35% lighter than a regular jersey worn in combination with a jacket, says Gore.
Gore Bike Wear, Löffler, Castelli, Maloja, 7Mesh, Odlo, Santini and Etxeondo will be unveiling their 1beats2 cycling jerseys.
"Fewer layers mean perspiration passes right through,“ added the company "therefore, cyclists can concentrate fully on the task at hand. They are not distracted by uncomfortable garments, don’t have to slow down or stop to change their clothing and break their rhythm.“
Asics, adidas and Gore Running Wear are extending the '1beats2‘ product ranges to runners "in the near future“.
Eurobike takes place in Friedrichshafen from August 26 to 29.
