Lightweight fabric manufacturer Pertex has said it is impressed by the finished products a number of its partner brands have made, using its technology, for the autumn-winter 2015-2016 season.

“Having seen an early preview, I am amazed at the technical innovations that our brand partners consistently unfold,” said Steve Laycock, Pertex brand director. “We are extremely proud they’ve selected Pertex fabrics to help make their products the best in the market.”

Highlights of the autumn-winter 2015-2016 apparel that features Pertex include the Treeline hybrid down jacket from Atomic. Light, thanks to its use of Pertex Shield+ fabric, the jacket is also warm, thanks to new PrimaLoft Down Blend. Atomic has said it will work well for skiers who want one jacket for the whole season, including the coldest mid-winter months. Bergans of Norway has used a similar combination in its Eggen jacket, although her the outer fabric is Pertex Quantum for maximum loft.

Other brands Pertex has picked out for their fabric selections in hybrid jackets include Berghaus, for the Ulvetanna, Black Diamond for the Hot Forge and Cintamani for the Agnar. Goldwin, Haglöfs, Helly Hansen, Mammut, Marmot, Millet, Montane and Odlo are other brands that have opted for Pertex fabrics.
