Solvay and Toray part of polymer research collaboration

Arkema, Solvay and Toray are among groups that have established a research centre for polymers in France - Lyon Polymer Science & Engineering.

Four French universities - INSA-Lyon, Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University Jean Monnet St Etienne and CoPEH Lyon Lyon University - are also part of the collaboration.

They hope the centre will become the main reference centre in the country in the field of polymerization and polymer materials, and the talent pool will enable breakthrough technologies.
