France’s new polymer research centre aiming to be world class

07/10/2015
Seven industrial groups and two research laboratories have joined forces to create a new research facility in France.

The Lyon Polymer Science & Engineering research facility will have centres in Lyon and St Etienne and will involve Arkema, Bluestar Silicones, Hutchinson, Nexans, Solvay, Toray and Total working in partnership with one another as well as with research groups IMP and C2P2.

All parties have agreed that the aim of the initiative should be to establish in France a research hub of international significance that will work on polymerisation and polymer materials.
