Hawaiian swimwear brand partners Healthy Seas

Swimwear Indigo Sage has become the latest partner of Healthy Seas, a multi-agency partnership which aims to rid the seas of ghost fishing nets by collecting and recycling them into reusable nylon 6.

Italy-based yarn producer Aquafil processes the nets at its factory in Slovenia and extracts the caprolactam, ready to be made into new fabrics.

Under the partnership, Hawaii-based Indigo Sage will donate 1% from every purchase of its swimwear to the Healthy Seas initiative.
