Gore introduces Thermium partners

W. L. Gore & Associates has introduced the first line of products making use of its new Thermium technology.

The company’s high-performance fabrics are positioned over the garment’s insulation (down, synthetic fibers or wool) to deliver windproof protection and stand up to light rain and brief snowfalls, protecting the insulation.

Brands choosing Thermium for autumn 2016 collections include 66 Degrees North, Arc’teryx, Black Diamond, Millet, Mountain Equipment, Odlo and Salewa.

Gore last month announced a brand restructure to help consumers differentiate between its products.
