Functional materials developer Sympatex will present new technology called Moisture-tech Apparel at ISPO 2016 in Munich (January 27-29) for the first time. It will also prevent new fabric technology called Climate Technology Seamless, specifically for footwear.

Moisture-tech Apparel will be aimed at apparel companies seeking to use innovative linings and three-layer laminates to provide what Sympatex has called “ideal moisture management during outdoor activities in any season”. It will help outdoor enthusiasts maintain “optimal body climate for changes between high-demand activities and resting phases”.

For its part, Climate Technology Seamless will be aimed at footwear companies that want to use laminated knitted shafts in their products. The knitted shafts would be 100% waterproof and windproof as well as breathable, thanks to the Sympatex membrane.
