Sympatex wins French ‘eco’ award

Laminates and membranes maker Sympatex has been named among winners of the first Ecosport Award, set up by the French government.

Sympatex was successful in the Eco-designed Award for textiles and footwear, convincing the jury with its portfolio of recycled and recyclable functional laminates.

Hervé Clerbout and Sylvie Mangin (Sympatex Technologies France) accepted the award in Paris from Thierry Braillard, the French Secretary of State for Sports, and Denis Brogniart, a sports journalist and TV presenter.
