Adidas’s full-year figures for 2015 show strong growth

Sports group adidas has issued its full-year figures for 2015, reporting a sales increase of 10%, with particularly strong growth for the adidas and Reebok brands, with 12% and 6% increases respectively.

Revenues for the whole group reached €16.9 billion, with profits of more than €8.1 billion, an increase of 18%.

Sales in western Europe increased by 17% on a currency-neutral basis last year, driven by double-digit sales growth in the UK, Italy, France and Spain. Currency-neutral sales in North America increased by 5% while revenues grew by 18% in China and by 12% in Latin America. There was a decline in the Russian market of 11%.
