Team GB reveal Olympic kit

28/04/2016
With a 100 days to go before the Olympic Games, Team GB have unveiled the kit that its athletes will wear in Rio de Janeiro.

The kit, which was designed by Stella McCartney in collaboration with adidas, features the colours of the Union Jack – red, white and blue – and carries a newly-created British coat of arms.

"The goal for Rio 2016 was to rewrite the rules of performance and design for athletes, allowing them to look and feel like champions on and off the field," said McCartney.

Each item of kit is made from breathable synthetic material, making it 10% lighter than the one worn four years ago in London. It will also feature adidas’ Clima technology, which conducts heat and sweat away from the body to keep athletes cool and comfortable whilst competing.
