Polartec reveals Apex 2016 winners

US textile firm Polartec has announced the winners of its Apex Design Award for 2016. A total of 13 products were selected from over 100 entries. They will receive their awards at the upcoming Outdoor show in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

The winning brands, all of whom use Polartec fabrics in their products, were selected for the style, functionality and quality of their designs. The winners for Europe and Asia are the first to be revealed and are as follows:  

•Blacks Crows: Corpus Jacket
•Eric Bompard: Turtlneck Pullover
•Joseph Abboud: Memory Men jacket
•Salewa: Pedroc Alpha jacket
•Rapha: Insulated Brevet jacket
•Red Fox: Alpha sleeping back/rucksack
