Nike wants athletes to keep their cool at Masters
Sportswear manufacturer Nike has revealed details of the apparel its athletes will wear at the first golf major of the year, the US Masters.

The tournament takes place from April 6 to 9 at the August National Golf Club in Georgia.

A total of 13 Nike athletes will be competing at the event, including former world number one players Rory McIlroy (pictured, left) and Jason Day (right). They will both wear a polo made from Nike Aeroreact, a lightweight fabric that adapts to the changing temperature of the wearer. Mr Day will also wear the Zonal Cooling polo, which Nike has said “provides optimal breathability where the body produces the most heat”.

Throughout the tournament, Mr McIlroy will wear the Nike Lunar Control Vapor shoes, while Mr Day, competing in his tournament as a Nike athlete, will wear the Air Zoom TW 71 PEs.
