Diverse programme for HeiQ at Performance Days
20/04/2017
On the first day of the fair, it will present an overview of the available temperature regulation technologies, including its own Smart Temp dynamic cooling technology. It will feature a live demonstration with an infrared camera.
Later on, HeiQ will give details of its partnership with Deakin University in Australia, which has seen it develop a process for the synthesis of Short Polymer Fibres (SPF). The resulting advanced fibre material has opened up new opportunities for innovative textile finishing technologies.
It will also hold a workshop to introduce HeiQ Dyefast, a cost-friendly solution that allows for textile manufacturers to reduce water and energy consumption during polyester dyeing by 30%.
On day two, HeiQs seminar programme will continue with a presentation of its PFC-free water repellent technology, Eco Dry, which takes its inspiration from the feathers of ducks.
It will conclude with a discussion about the textile industry’s approach to odour control, including in-depth detail about HeiQ’s Fresh Tech technology.
