Dachstein becomes Gore-Tex licensing partner

A select range of Dachstein boots and shoes that use the material came to market in May 2017, but from its spring-summer 2018 collection, the Austrian company will put Gore-Tex into all of its waterproof, breathable footwear.
Some of the products that will benefit from this new partnership include the Dachstein knit collection, with 3D-knit uppers, as well as Dachstein footwear that uses suede and Cordura fabric.
“We are very proud to announce the forthcoming cooperation with Gore, the renowned membrane specialists,” said Oliver Wieser, Dachstein chief executive. “It is further proof [that] we have chosen to offer our customers products with the best possible functionality. Initial reaction from our dealers has been overwhelmingly positive.”
