Woolmark to help designers show collections at Pitti Uomo

Eight Australian designers will present wool-rich collections for spring/summer 2017 at the forthcoming Pitti Uomo Exhibition in Florence, Italy (June 13-16). 

Their participation is the event is supported by marketing and research body The Woolmark Company. 
Australia was chosen as the ‘guest nation’ for this edition of Pitti Uomo. Previous countries to have benefitted from the programme are Ukraine, Turkey and Finland. 

“Australia is becoming one of the most interesting – and quickly growing – places in fashion and creativity today, that’s why we decided to dedicate a Guest Nation project to this country,” the organisers explained.
