Testing groups among new ZDHC contributors

“We’re encouraged to see growing support for our work because one brand or supplier cannot achieve this change alone,” said ZDHC executive director, Frank Michel. “Standard setting, collaborative implementation and industry engagement are all key to driving the success of the programme forward.”
The new contributors are: sewing thread manufacturer American & Efird (A&E); Italian quality testing service provider Brachi; silicon and chemical supplier Britacel Silicones; testing group Bureau Veritas; testing service provided Intertek; and textile chemical supplier INT International Group. All six are joining as value chain affiliates.
C&A Foundation, a charity affiliated with the clothing retailer C&A, is joining the programme as an associate.
The addition of these seven companies brings the total number of contributors to the ZDHC programme to 70. This includes 23 signatory brands, 33 value chain affiliates and 14 associates.
