EOG sets out vision for OutDoor exhibition
30/08/2017
The dates of the exhibition were brought forward to June in 2017 and this will continue next year, in what will be the event’s 25th anniversary.
Following positive feedback from visitors to this year’s show, OutDoor 2018 will have an expanded programme of speakers, which will reflect the changing nature and definition of ‘outdoor’. This will also be the key theme of the event’s workshops and seminars.
Many of these will be hosted by the EOG under its new ‘OutReach’ programme, which focuses on elements such as corporate social responsibility and sustainability, conservation, and the promotion of outdoor participation to the public.
EOG also revealed that it is making good progress with its Vision 2020 Project, which aims to guide the longer-term future of the show. It said it will continue to work towards this goal in the rest of 2017 and will be making a decision about the direction of OutDoor from 2019 onwards at the start of next year.
