Running Centre to return at OutDoor 2018
15/11/2017
The 2017 edition of OutDoor featured a dedicated Running Centre for the first time. It was designed to reflect a shift in the running market. At the time, the organisers said any boundary that exists between running on the streets or in a city park and running in forests, hills and mountains is more fluid now than ever.
"Last year’s OutDoor demonstrated that running and outdoor combine well and reach new active target groups. We want to further this synergy in 2018, by further strengthening the running theme,” explained Stefan Reisinger, head of OutDoor.
The Running Centre will return at OutDoor 2018. There will be a space for international running experts to present new developments as well as a specially-created market place where the latest trends will be showcased.
There will be a community area, supporting events, opportunities for product testing and workshops. The 2018 shows will also see the return of the OutDoor Run & Trail Summit, which attracted over one hundred participants when it made its debut last year.
