ZDHC recognises seventh chemical conformance standard

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation has added SciveraLens to its list of accepted certification standards for conformance to its Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL).

Founded in 2008, Scivera offers cloud-based software tools and consulting services for major consumer product brands and their global suppliers in relation to chemical regulatory compliance, alternatives assessment, product integrity goals, and corporate sustainability.

Chemical formulations reviewed by its SciveraLens screening solution will now be recognised as having Level 1 conformance to the ZDHC MRSL and will be listed on the ZDHC Gateway Chemical Module. 

"We are excited to be expanding our support of the ZDHC Programme," said Scivera President, Joe Rinkevich. "SciveraLens offers textile chemical suppliers a fast and cost-effective way to validate the conformance of products against the ZDHC MRSL, as well as the ability to explore preferred alternative chemicals for product innovation.”

The addition of SciveraLens brings the list of accepted certifiers of ZDHC MRSL conformance to seven.
