New Helly Hansen jacket will work in warmer weather too

Norwegian outdoor brand Helly Hansen has introduced a new down-filled jacket, theVerglas Light, that it says will work particularly well during warmer months.

It has 800-fill Allied down inside a lightweight fabric and softshell mix, designed to offer warmth when needed but allowing for maximum breathability and quick release of excess heat during exertion. The Verglas also has high-visibility detailing on the back hem and hood, slim cuffs with stretch binding allow for easy layering and mobility, and PFC-free DWR coating across the jacket.

All of this combines to allow wearers to use the new jacket as a midlayer or an outer layer, depending on the conditions.
