Sports climber joins Gore-Tex athlete team

Mr Megos won the 2009 European Youth Cup Championships. Since then he has completed an impressive number of cutting-edge climbing routes. He also finished second in the European Bouldering Championships in 2017.
“Obviously Alex’s accomplishments are impressive, but what’s equally impressive is his attitude, which is one of the reasons he’s a great ambassador for the Gore-Tex brand,” said Andreas Marmsoler, in charge of global sponsorship for WL Gore. “We see an increasing interest among young people for climbing, and with Alex on our team we hope to help inspire them to reach their climbing dreams, and for our brand to remain an integral part of their outdoor experiences.”
For his part, Mr Megos said: “I’m proud to partner with the Gore-Tex brand because I see the same desire to push standards reflected in Gore-Tex products.
