Lenzing signs up as ZDHC contributor

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) group has announced that Austrian fibre group Lenzing is one of three new contributors to its programme.

ZDHC said the involvement of Lenzing and of another leading fibre producer, viscose staple fibre specialist Birla Cellulose, “marks a significant programme expansion into the area of raw material production”. 

The group has also welcomed its first contributor from Turkey, denim manufacturer ISKO.

All three new contributors will join ZDHC as value chain affiliates from the textile industry. The total number of contributors to the programme is now 95.
