Jeanologia joins the Sustainable Apparel Coalition

The company explained that by being part of the SAC, which includes more than 220 brands, retailers, manufacturers and organisations from across the textile supply chain, would allow it to play a part in bringing about “effective change” in the textile industry.
Making the announcement, Begoña García, from Jeanologia’s R&D Sustainable Process team, said: “The transformation of the textile industry into a more sustainable one needs to be done by bringing together all industry stakeholders. SAC is doing so by setting up the necessary standards to measure sustainability performance of the complex textile manufacturing process. We want to join this transformation journey”.
As part of its membership of the SAC, Jeanologia will contribute data and resources to support the Higg Index.
