Canterbury signs rugby star Justin Tipuric as brand ambassador

Justin Tipuric played every minute of every one of the Welsh team’s five matches in its Grand Slam triumph in the 2019 Six Nations championship, winning 97% of his tackles. He will now work with Canterbury, which is part of the Pentland Brands group, to help it design new products.
At the time of the announcement, he said: “I grew up wearing Canterbury so I have a really strong connection with the brand. I’m looking forward to wearing more of the range, both on and off the field, but also to being a part of the process and helping to create products that professionals, grass-roots players and fans will enjoy.”
Head of sports marketing at Canterbury, Simon Rowe, said: “Justin was one of the standout performers in this year’s Six Nations. We share his passion for rugby and look forward to working together, tapping into his considerable experience to develop innovative products for payers at all levels of the game.”
