The company was launched in Utah seven years ago and was bought by US clothing and footwear group VF last year.
The acquisition has given the brand the confidence to push into Europe and Asia.
Fabio Marangoni, its sales and brand director for EMEA, told sportstextiles the biggest obstacle is that not enough people know the name, but when they try the shoe, 80% buy again. “That level of customer loyalty is quite unique,” he said.
The company is now trying to make inroads into the outdoor lifestyle segment.
“The VF platform gives you network and confidence,” he added.
