Face-cover gives runners room to breathe, ASICS says

Sports brand ASICS has brought to market a face-cover that it says is ideal for runners.

Its scientists, engineers and designers created the face-cover with air-vents “to give runners room to breathe comfortably” while preventing the spread of droplets.

Quick-drying material that ASICS has used helps cool the air that runners will feel on the inside of the product.

Tests at the company’s Institute of Sport Science in Kobe have shown improvements in breathability and comfort. During these tests, runners said they experienced “little or no difference” compared to running without a mask.
