Arc’teryx’s Veilance launches womenswear
Veilance, the sub-label of Canadian performance outdoor brand Arc’teryx, recently released its first technical womenswear collection in the form of a spring-summer 2021 pre-launch.
Three years in the making, the initial release was overseen by creative director Taka Kasuga and includes a jacket, blazer, blouse and shorts in a typically muted colour palette (the first photographs shared of the collection are all in black and white).
While no information regarding the clothing’s technical specifications has been disclosed at this stage, Veilance, founded in 2009, offers “climate controlling solutions” in a system of modular layers created from “progressive materials and advanced constructions”, according to its website.
The new women’s articles will be available exclusively at Arc’teryx’s London (Piccadilly), New York (Soho), Vancouver (Burrard), Beijing and Shanghai locations.
