Water-repellent textile finishing developer Green Theme Technologies (GTT) has appointed David Andreas as its new chief executive.

Mr Andreas had been GTT’s company president and chief operating officer since 2019; he took over from Dr Gary Selwyn as chief executive on August 11. He said on taking up his new role that the change had come at “a fantastic time” for GTT and its PFC-free technology platform, Empel.

“We have seen a resurgence of interest in our durable water repellent (DWR) finish over the last several months and the market will see GTT signing new licensees, as well as new brand customers in apparel and other markets. We have added new talent to the team and we are poised to handle the increased volume of business.”
