Event organiser Messe München has announced that Klaus Dittrich will step down as its chief executive in mid-2022.

The company that runs the ISPO events has already decided that two existing members of its management board, Reinhard Pfeiffer and Stefan Rummel, will become joint-managing directors when Mr Dittrich retires.

Klaus Dittrich joined the board of Messe München in 2002 and became the company’s chief executive in 2010.
