Lagos hosts first flagship store for Nike in West Africa

A Nike flagship store opened in Nigeria’s largest city, Lagos, on August 25. The store will be operated by the sports brand’s retail partner in the region, Hudson.
This is the first Nike flagship store, not only in Nigeria but in the whole of West Africa, Hudson said. Its country manager, Kieran Murphy, said Nigeria had played a strong role in Nike’s history in Africa.
The brand has been the official supplier of the country’s national football team since 2015, having previously supplied the team’s kit between 1994 and 2003.
